Blink 182 is an American rock trio formed in 1992 in Poway, California that predominantly plays pop punk music. Blink 182 was originally composed of Tom DeLonge (vocals, guitar), Mark Hoppus (vocals, bass) and Scott Raynor (drums). In 1998, midway through a U.S. tour, drummer Travis Barker replaced Raynor. DeLonge left the group in early 2005, initiating an indefinite hiatus. DeLonge went on to form Angels & Airwaves, while Hoppus and Barker continued playing music with +44. On February 8, 2009, Blink-182 announced that they had reunited.

DeLonge cites punk rock bands Descendents and Screeching Weasel as influences, although the band's songwriting and production are driven by a pop sensibility. Blink-182 is known for their simple melodies, teen angst and lyrical toilet humour, as well as by their hit singles "Dammit," "What's My Age Again?," "All the Small Things," "Adam's Song," "The Rock Show," "First Date," "Stay Together for the Kids," "Feeling This" and "I Miss You."

At the 51st Grammy Awards ceremony on Feb. 8, 2009 all three members of the band appeared onstage for the first time since December 2004. Barker announced the band's reformation, stating that "we used to play music together, and we decided we're going to play music together again," with Hoppus adding, "Blink-182 is back!" A message appearing on the band's website the same day confirmed the reformation and added that the band is in the studio writing and recording a new album and preparing for a world tour. The band also updated their "smiley face" logo to feature six arrows instead of the previous five.

After the on-stage announcement many fans began to speculate on Travis Barker's arm being in a sling. An MTV article released on February 10 claimed that Barker had recently undergone surgery to repair "extensive nerve damage," from which a recovery could take up to ten weeks. It is not currently known how or if this will affect the band's recording schedule or proposed tour.

Sambutan Panitia

Alhamdulillah berkat do'a kita semua blog ini sudah jadi.... horee.....hore,

Halo teman-teman musik di seluruh tanah, selamat datang di blog ini. sebenarnya tujuan awal dari pembuatan blog ini adalah sebagai wadah daripada para panitia pagelaran musik pasirandu kadu curug tangerang. yang diadakan tanggal 26 april 2009, hari minggu. sebagai apresiasi kami sebagai kaum muda yang enerjik, kami ingin mencari wadah kreatifitas yang bisa bermanfaat untuk perkembangan anak muda di daerah kami khususnya dan para anak muda di seluruh tanah air pada umumnya. kami para pemuda hanya ingin mengadakan suatu kegiatan positif yang bersifat berkesinambungan. agar tidak mati sampai disini saja..

Walupun acara kami tidak seperti yang diharapkan dan diinginkian, tetapi kami tidak mengeluh. kami siap menegakkan kepala kami, untuk event yang lebih besar dimasa yang akan datang. Disamping review dari acara kami yang diadakan pada tanggal 26 april 2009. blog ini, seperti yang tadi sudah saya sampaikan, adalah tempat mencari informasi seputar musik, baik local maupun manca negara. yah mudah2an ini bermanfaat untuk kita semua.

Terakhir sambutan ini saya sampaikan. Kami pemuda pasirrandu hanya ingin maju, tanpa dukungan dari berbagai pihak yang mendukung kami. kami tidak akan bisa. Dan terimakasih kepada semua pihak yang sudah membantu, terimakasih kepada Karang Taruna Desa kadu, Bpk. KAPOLSEK Curug, dan anak2 pasirandu yang udah dukung acara ne biarpun masih banyak kekurangannya. terimakasih.

Event's Review

Minggu 26 April. Acara Music Festival Yang diadakan Di Pasirandu Dimulai. Acara yang jadwalnya akan dimulai jam 09.30 WIB ini ternyata ngaret sampe jam 11.30. maklumlah Acara perdana yang dengan modal seiprit dan Pengen hasil yang puas. setelah dimulai, akhirnya satu persatu para peserta dipanggil. dan urutan pertama adalah Culix bAND, Dengan dUO Vokalis wanitanya mereka menggebrak Panggung.
